Thanks for checking me out!

Currently I am Professor of English at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.  May 31, 2010, will end a 34 year teaching career there--Freshman Composition, Poetry Writing, and Writing Song Lyrics. 

Now it’s time to take the show on the road.  I’ll give up my apartment, store my stuff, and live in a travel trailer as I tour North America, presenting my poems and songs at universities, conferences, workshops, open mics, and coffee houses.
